Global Senior Director Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

We are hiring a Senior Director, Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to lead Coperion’s global HR efforts for its new and growing Food, Health and Nutrition (FHN) business!

You will partner with the global FHN President, FHN leadership team and the global HR team, ensuring that the HR priorities and focus areas match the short, medium, and long-term business needs. Your efforts will impact our ability to meet our strategic growth objectives, as we must attract, develop, reward, and retain the necessary skills and talent.

WORK YOU WILL DO:

  • Participate in M&A activities including due diligence and integration support – We have just completed several acquisitions, so integration will be a key focus over the year.
  • Drive Hillenbrand’s purpose and core values throughout the organization including promoting a culture of inclusion to drive diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Partner with FHN business leaders to drive the effectiveness of the business through developing organization design and leadership changes as appropriate.
  • Ensure an ongoing and proactive focus on driving change within the business, linking change management needs, communications, tools, and processes with overall business cultural and change direction.
  • Work with the Global Total Rewards COE to manage labor costs and ensure that the organization is compensated appropriately according to local market and industry practices, and in accordance with internal Hillenbrand compensation philosophy and business strategic requirements.
  • Ensure managers throughout the organization have learning and development as an ongoing priority, and they understand and drive the link between business performance.
  • Drive a performance management culture within the organization, ensuring full application of Hillenbrand’s talent management process.
  • Partner with Corporate HR Centers of Excellence like Talent Acquisition and Talent Management to ensure you broker HR services and solutions and that the COEs are aware of business priorities, performance, and challenges.
  • Lead a global team of direct and indirect reports, ensuring the right people are in the right places, and taking any actions as required, to ensure the business HR organization is designed, staffed, and developed to drive a high-performance organization.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7 years HR management experience
  • 3 years’ experience in a complex highly matrixed organization
  • 3 years’ experience in a global organization

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

  • Experience working across a global organization including HR oversight for operations with work councils and co-determination rights.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% to ensure you visit the global sites and understand the pulse of the organization.
  • Strong level of business acumen to understand what makes a business successful, and the interconnections of functions and regions across a global organization.
  • Passion for driving diversity, equity and inclusion in the business while championing inclusive processes and experiences for our associates.
  • Demonstrates a high level of planning and organization skills daily.
  • Highly customer-focused approach, demonstrating success through a ‘Voice of the Customer’ approach.
  • An excellent manager of people, skilled in motivation and development of a team (direct and indirect reports).
  • Demonstrated process and metrics driven.
  • Demonstration of the Hillenbrand Core Values – Win as One, Drive to Deliver, Make it Matter and Partner with Possibility.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, organizational development, human resources.
  • Solid work experience in various levels of HR Management role.
  • Experience of operating HR in a complex global and matrix organization, with relatively independent and remote locations.
  • Solid understanding of global HR practices, legislation, and employment cultures – and how to get results in a global HR environment.
  • Knowledge of how business to business / industrial organizations operate, and proven success in such organizations.
  • Experience working in the food industry is a plus but not required.
